How do I book services with you?

In the first instance contact me through the website to tell me a little bit about your dog and what you'd like from the photoshoot. 

Where are you based and do travel?

I’m based in Toronto and do the majority of my local sessions in and around Cherry Beach off leash dog park at sunrise and sunset on both weekdays and weekends. I will be offering photo shoot sessions in Calgary, Winnipeg, Halifax and Vancouver during 2022 and am available for both private and commercial commissions internationally.

How and when do I make payment?

A 50% deposit is required to reserve your photoshoot. The balance is due once you have selected your favourite images to be edited. Payment can be made via e-transfer.

Do you do any indoor photo shoots?

Periodically I partner with local companies and other dog organizations to use their space for a day of mini shoot sessions (30 minute slots for each dog). Please contact us to find out the date of the next mini photo shoot session.

What happens during a typical session?

We will meet at the shoot location at the agreed time and get your dog acclimatized to the camera (and sometimes flash). I will then take some practice shots to check the lighting and then will head straight into the shoot. Depending on what kind of images you have requested, you may be asked to assist in the session by holding the leash on your dog or assisting with my lighting. Can you take photos of our children / family during our session??

I am predominantly a dog photographer and so the focus of my work will largely be on your dog. I do however work on a project whereby I capture the unique bond between dogs and their owner so we can incorporate a couple of family shots into your session if requested. Because family shots inevitably take longer, they incur a surcharge on the 'Local Celebrity' package.

What happens if we have bad weather?

We can shoot in all conditions apart from rain or heavy snow. If the weather forecast looks unfavourable I will contact you the day before the proposed shoot to reschedule to a mutually agreeable time.

What happens after the shoot?

Within 24-48 hours after your dog’s photo shoot, you will have access to a gallery of approximately 30 unedited images. From this gallery, you 'favourite' the images you would like me to edit.

The number of final edited images that you receive is dependant on the photography package you purchased. You may purchase additional images – this is explained during the selection process. 

Once I have received notification of the images you would like me to edit, I will work on your images. The typical turnaround time for your digital files is 10-14 days. If you are ordering any wall art, I will also place the order during this time.

Wall art is available in some packages and can also be purchased a la carte.

Who do you use to print your images?

I work solely GTA Imaging – a family owned and operated professional photo lab in the GTA that serves professional photographers only. Their work is of the highest quality – indeed they are the go-to printing house for professional photographers in Ontario. Turn around times are between 7-14 business days.



Using Format
